Keeping this in mind I still hatch all winter long and have a GREAT hatch-rate. Keeping your chicks alive in the winter is slightly more difficult as well. Please keep these things in mind. Due to the frizzle rooster you have a 25% chance of hatching a frizzle during your hatch. NPIP & AI certified farm located in north Florida. We test for fertility monthly and keep 1 rooster per 5 hens to ensure fertility. We CANNOT guarantee your hatch rate. Shipping hatching eggs is a gamble. We will guarantee that your eggs arrive well packaged and 100% fertilized. Due to the changes at USPS we no longer can file your damage claims, so please be prepared to file the claim online if the need arises. I truly want you to have a great hatch rate and beautiful chicks! ***please note during the summer we ONLY ship on Monday-Tuesday depending on your location. Please understand hatching shipped eggs during the summer is a risk, I cannot refund your order due to a bad hatch rate or incubation during shipping. CANDLE and discard any bad eggs before incubating to avoid this issue. I send as many extras as I can to help you out*** Please do not wash your eggs prior to incubating them. We recommend incubating your eggs at 99.5-100.5 at a humidity of 40%. After 7 days candle your eggs and discard any that do not show growth. At day 18 candle your eggs again. At this time place all the developing eggs into lockdown at a humidity of 40-50%. They should hatch within a couple days, by day 21 of incubating. Please make sure to be prepared prior to incubating your eggs on good hatching practices! I cannot replace your eggs due to a bad hatch.
