6 Barred Rock Hatching Eggs – pure breeding, 100% free range, organic fed – NPIP. NPIP 43-1024. Eggs are always a gamble, even the freshest eggs, under ideal conditions do not always develop and hatch. I consistently have a hatch rate that is over 95%. DO NOT wash your eggs. Washing the egg will remove the bloom and kill the egg. Barred Rock Hatching Eggs – pure breeding, 100% free range, organic fed – NPIP. This is NOT a pre-sale. Once your payment has processed, I will then BEGIN gathering eggs. This is to ensure you receive the freshest eggs possible. The number of eggs collected each day varies greatly and is dependent on breed, season, and a number of other variables. I will message you upon purchase to give an estimated shipping date. I package each egg individually with bubble wrap and cushion them using foam to give them the best chance possible to arrive safely. When available, I will send extra eggs with your shipment in case of breakage. I have listed a 3 day packaging time, but this could be only 1 day or up to 2 weeks if a slow laying breed. We ship on Mondays and Tuesdays ONLY. This is to limit the risk of your eggs being held over a weekend in transit. Once you receive your eggs, let them rest for 12-24 hours, as they need time to settle from shipping and to regulate to room temperature (approx.70 degrees) before putting them in your preheated incubator or under your birds. DO NOT wash your eggs. Eggs come out of the hen with a protective coating called a ‘bloom’ that prevents bacteria from entering the egg. Washing the egg will remove the bloom and kill the egg. It is common for eggs to sometimes have some dirt or even dried poop on the outside. I wipe eggs with a DRY paper towel prior to shipping to remove this debris. If you receive a dirty egg, know that this will not effect fertility, and can be removed with a dry paper towel. If all goes well, 21 days after being placed in the incubator you will have happy, healthy chicks. Of course, I can NOT guarantee safe arrival but I do my part. The eggs maybe subjected to rough handling in transit or delayed delivery. Not to mention the delicate incubation process varies by the method you use. Eggs are always a gamble, even the freshest eggs, under ideal conditions do not always develop and hatch. Lack of development does not mean the eggs were infertile. The eggs that I send are the same eggs that I put in my own incubator and I continually put a few in my incubator to test fertility. I consistently have a hatch rate that is over 95%. Please keep in mind that I can NOT guarantee any particular hatch percentage so if you do not accept the risk, please do not order eggs. I strive for 100% satisfaction under my control. When leaving a review, you are commenting on my service, communications, packaging, and product: NOT the hatch rate. Hatch rates of shipped eggs on average are 50% or less. No returns, replacements or refunds – but talk to me If there is a problem. If I cannot fix things, I may be able to point you in the right direction.
